What is data retention?

Data retention means link history and refers to the process of storing and maintaining the data and statistics associated with your short links, Bio Pages, and QR Code on Linko.

It ensures that the information you gather from your short links is preserved according to the data retention policy of your chosen plan.

When you create and manage links on Linko, the data collected—such as clicks, engagement metrics, and other statistics—are stored securely.

The duration for which this data is retained depends on the specific plan you’re subscribed to:

Agency Plan

If you’re subscribed to our Agency plan, your link history are stored indefinitely, or as long as you maintain an active account with us.

This means you’ll have ongoing access to all your historical data without any time limitations.

Individual, Business, and Customized Plans

For those on the Individual or Business plans, or any custom plans purchased through other LTD marketplaces, data retention is tied to the specific terms of your plan. When the data retention period expires, the statistics for your links will be reset.

Important Note:

While the statistics associated with your links may reset after the retention period, you will not lose the links themselves.

All your links, Bio Pages, and QR Codes will remain active and accessible; only the collected data will be cleared after the specified retention period in your plan.

Understanding how link history works is crucial for managing and analyzing your link performance effectively.

Make sure to choose a plan that aligns with your data needs to ensure you have access to the historical data that matters most to your business.
